There were a few pots that are very scratched, and probably not safe to cook with. Also, there was no servewear (bowls/platters etc.) to serve food. It would be useful to have some of those.\n\n(2) The floor in the living room had not been swept/mopped properly. Walking barefoot in the living room was not pleasant."

Great specific directions for the fireplace - we took advantage of it one of the nights and it was lovely!\nAlso the home is just beautiful and all the appointments were tasteful and made us feel quite comfortable.\nOne note of suggestion, is that we struggled to \u201cwalk\u201d to the slopes as we are not expert skiers, hard to walk in ski boots and it was about .3 mi to the trail entrance. We thought it would be closer to the house as the description stated ski on/ski off. \nWe just loved the peace, spaciousness and beauty of the home and surroundings but did want to mention that one point of disappointment.\nVery grateful, thank you again and we look forward to our December 2026 booking!\nAll the best & happy new year,\nFred & Anne"

They were extremely responsive hosts, and we had a bay and two toddlers and the house was well-stocked for making it easy, with pack and plays, some toys, and even kids books (good thing because we somehow forgot ours). We lucked out getting a fresh snow right before we came, and the property and area around it was beautiful. Great for quiet walks and enjoying the snow, and the hot tub was great. The house itself is very comfortable with different hangout areas, and the location is amazing\u2026super close to many Catskills towns, good skiing, and hikes. Great stay. Thanks!",

Even when the weather was cold and dreary out, the windows in the great room made it a dream like experience. We were able to get comfortable and cozy while also having the space for us to both work from home. Kitchen was very well stocked and had pretty much everything you\u2019d want if you cook. It was a pleasure staying there and we will enthusiastically recommend friends and family visiting in the future to stay here.",

We didn\u2019t have any complaints but we were also able to do small things to improve the overall experience - like bring our own pillows and things like that. I guess the only thing to point out is that the dishwasher didn\u2019t always rinse very well so the washer pods didn\u2019t always dissolve and disperse well. But we didn\u2019t need to use it that much until the end. Otherwise, we felt relieved and grateful we found this place. Happy holidays!"

Not sure if your prices change Summer - Winter but I\u2019d be delighted to pay that price if we were able to use the grill and pool etc, but felt it was on the higher side otherwise. \nThen, the towels and bedding in the main bathroom and smaller bedroom had a bit of a musty smell. Not sure if they had been sitting out or in a cupboard for a while, but they didn\u2019t smell fresh. I also wondered if because there wasn\u2019t a duvet cover on, maybe that didn\u2019t help the musty smell. The house is about 10min away from Howe Caverns so it was perfect. It\u2019s also close to downtown Schoharie and Cobleskill so plenty of food/drink options. We stayed with another family of 4 and had more than enough room. The indoor pool, movie theater, and game room were all a huge hit! As a bonus, I was able to book a horse riding session for my wife. The indoor arena is adjacent to the house, and Tiffany, the stable manager, was more than happy to accommodate the request. You can\u2019t go wrong here\u2026stop thinking about it and book it!",

Plenty of space, accommodated children, and lots of outdoor space to run and play! I cannot say enough great things about the host - I had quite a few questions since we were traveling with littles, and he was always quick to respond and provided a list of kid-friendly activities nearby! We made the best memories and can\u2019t wait to recommend this home to friends and family :)",

The house literally has everything you would need for a BBQ and cooking, as the kitchen is fully stocked, we weren\u2019t able to use the fire pit because there was so many bugs but it\u2019s a great setup if you\u2019re willing to ignore the bugs while getting it started. We referenced it several times during our stay.\n\nThe Chalet honestly exceeded our expectations! The features were great and the location and setting were pleasant and peaceful. The layout was great for some family togetherness but also allowed for some restful alone time. \nIt was also a great home base for exploring the nearby state park and other activities in the area.\n\nMy wife especially enjoyed sitting in the porch swing in the mornings, drinking her coffee, and listening to the bird songs. \n\nWe would, without question, stay there again in the future if we have opportunity to do so!",

Justin is incredibly responsive and we were able to get a jump start on our trip thanks to his welcome app which had everything we needed from check-in instructions to local activity and food recommendations and more. As soon as we arrived at the chalet we were in relaxed-vacation mode. Our stresses melted away. The chalet was impeccably clean and more spacious than we had anticipated. All of the touches were thoughtful, from practical kitchen space to the cozy living room (with a huge TV for streaming and a great record player). The outdoor space was perfect for a morning cup of coffee (nespresso and coffee provided) and to read a book with a beer at the end of a day of local hiking. Also, given that I am an early riser and my family likes to sleep in, the layout was ideal. I was able to start my morning routine without fear of waking up the rest of the house. Overall, we had an amazing experience. We'll be back!",

It had everything I needed, from kitchen supplies to laundry detergent, hangars, extra TP and lots of blankets/throws for those cold upstate nights. The first thing I noticed was how clean everything was. No dust balls, spider webs, unpleasant odors or pet fur on furniture. The furnishings and decor were thoughtfully and artfully done. It was quiet and peaceful, exactly what I was looking for on my trip, but neighbors were close enough that as a woman alone I felt more comfortable than being totally isolated. Stores and restaurants weren\u2019t around the corner, but nothing I needed was more than 30 minutes away. I loved all the dog bowls and blankets . So nice to see a place that truly welcomes pets. There were a number of guide books to consult and luckily a puzzle for those rainy days. Justin couldn\u2019t have been more helpful. He responded right away to any questions I had. I highly recommend this property.",

I don\u2019t know if this is something you have any control over. They never picked up the trash. The bins were at the end of the driveway when I got there and were full, so I could never get the trash out of the house. Not terrible and certainly not something that would stand in the way of a 5 star review, just something I thought you should be aware of. \n\nP.S. a fireplace would be nice lol. So glad you had those throws in the living room"

You can hear the nearby creek while sitting on the deck which is so peaceful. \n\nInside, the home is incredibly well laid out. You enter into the open living room/dining room with a vaulted ceiling, comfortable furniture and large windows with doors that lead out to the deck. Just beautiful. The kitchen is off the dining room and is a dream to cook in. The large marble island is amazing for prepping food and there's a gas stove. \n\nThe bedrooms are all a great size with comfy beds. All have a great cozy vibe. I have a very hard time sleeping when I'm away from home and I actually slept very well during our stay. \n\nThe bathrooms were spotless and beautiful, very spa like. The toiletries provided had a great fresh and clean smell to them. The towels were nice and fluffy. \n\nAll in all we absolutely loved our stay at Justin's and I know you will too.",

Every kitchen supply you can think of, clean and cozy bedrooms, a wonderful TV and sound system, and beautiful design both in and outside of the house. My brothers and I like to do an annual retreat and explore new places each year, but we're already talking about returning to this exact spot next summer. Not only is the house incredibly comfortable and peaceful. It is also in a great location. Not too far from the town of Kerhonkson, where we actually had an extraordinary meal at a restaurant called Mill & Main. And also very close to Lake Minnewaska, where we went on an absolutely stunning hike around the lake to a spot called Gertrude's Nose, followed by a refreshing dip in the water. We can't wait to return!",

The living room looks and feels so cozy even with the high ceiling. Each room had spacious closets which we LOVED. The place was so nice that we decided to spend more time at the cabin instead of going out to eat. Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the deck more but we fully enjoyed the amazing sound system and the record player. The online guidebook they provide made it easier to plan our trip also. We went on the Hudson cruise one day and Mohonk the next day - Kingston is about 40 min and Mohonk is only 30 min from the cabin. We spent every night at the firepit which was so peaceful. Justin and Corinne are both very responsive and proactive. We'd love to return in the fall season also and definitely recommend to everyone!",

The cottage is well stocked with everything you need and more! We enjoyed music on the record player, grilling, making s\u2019mores in the fire pit (so kind they provide wood!) the hammock which was so peaceful. The deck was so inviting and the whole house has large windows to enjoy lots of natural light and the nature. Closets were large and walk in so your room always looks clean throughout the stay which made our stay more enjoyable. We did a hike with goats which was so fun, visited the stunning Minnewaska State Park, and even found some majestic waterfalls. Thank you for a wonderful experience Justin and Corinne! The place was impeccable, and all the amenities were provided and in abundance. Waking up each morning was our favorite, drinking coffee on the front porch swing and eating breakfast surrounded by nature. We loved it so much, that we decided to extend our vacation an extra day! The suggestions were great! It helped us decide what to do, even as we left we took their suggestion of checking out FDR\u2019s Presidential Library, which is a must, if you haven\u2019t and are a history buff! Each night we enjoyed the stars at night. We didn\u2019t want to leave, but walked away with great memories! Thank you Justin for your hospitality and your responsiveness! My wife and I definitely recommend this place!",

You did order more pots, but a lot of them are small. I\u2019d order a stock pot or something similar for folks who want to make soups or pasta and need to boil lots of water\n\n(2) The TV space is great, but it\u2019s hard to seat more than 3 comfortably to watch a movie (meaning they have a seat and are in front of the TV.
